A CLUB LEGEND

We all see around the club these days all the different types of bowls and of many multi colours. And it seems as new bowls come out onto the market, there is that urge to try something new, as it may just give us that extra edge to our game.

But to see one of our club legends with a new set of Aero's at the Salt Property Group Lightning Carnival was something of a surprise indeed.

I'm talking about our very own Bill Malacari who as you know is a very young and spritely 92 year old.

And yes here he was on Monday showing off his new set of coloured Aero bowls.

Now that is a man with lots of confidence and someone who believes it is never too late to make a change to still improve areas of his game.“Billy Boy” You really are a true legend and you are our club’s Bowler of the Month.
