Great fun at social bowls today during the Xmas break - late start 'cos the Ladies Pennants Fixtures were still on and our ladies at home so we were off to a late start. Good job because Lee O'Brien was late as usual!!

24 Bowlers attended, so four full rinks - a good roll up for a social game in December. Thursday this week looks like being OK weatherwise with 24/26 predicted so come on down!.

The 4 games were conducted with Dave Nicholson, Tony Gooch and John Wood being the winners with +14, a very creditable result - well done guys. Second were John Meuller (new member - well done John!) Gerry Naylor and Don K wth +7, Third Lee O'Brien, Sue Lowe and John Bryant. These guys came back from 13/2 down after 9 ends to win 18/17, great effort, well done.

Gerry and Ian conducted another successful raffle of 3 wines - great effort for the club guys on an ongoing basis. Keep it up.

The door prize was won by Peter Purves - $50.

Thursday and Saturday this week (19th and 21st December) same format with Wine/Beers as prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd, another door prize of $50 and the usual raffles etc. See you all there on Thursday.
