GARDEN CITY BOOTH

Several members volunteered to man a booth at Garden City recently. The Club ended up with 6 new members including one new 1st year bowler, so well done to all involved.

Although we only signed up the 6 new members, there were many people who showed interest and took membership applications away, so fingers crossed we will get some committing to membership further down the track.

We handed out quite a lot of the brochures and also had one request to hire the function hall area for a birthday party.

Quite a lot of people stopped and asked what was happening at Mt. Pleasant Bowling Club, as they were of the view we were closed!!!!

While not earth shattering, quite a bit achieved on the day in raising awareness that Mt. Pleasant Bowling Club is alive and kicking.
