The “BANKERS” of the Mt. Pleasant Bowling Club celebrated their annual Christmas luncheon on Thursday 12^thDecember at the Club.

Present were 27 0f the regulars who were able to attend the function. This was once again organised by Max Sheppard and Ron Wrightson, with some assistance from the other regulars.

At his recent  celebration at the Club Ernie was presented with a Honorary Life Membership to the HMAS Canberra - HMAS Shropshire Association.  "The Association proudly acknowledges Ernie Rudland for his steadfast lifetime commitment to his shipmates that he served with on HMAS Canberra during World War 2 and his service to the Royal Australian Navy and his Country in addition to his highly valued support of the WA Division of the Association. "

Congratulations to June Edwards and Del Malacari, the winners of the Ladies Championship Pairs for 2013.  Congratulations also to the Runners-up, Linda Davis and Colette Smith.  The Plate winners were Anne Banks and Fae Hunt.

Congratulations to all who participated in the MOUNT PLEASANT BOWLING CLUB , MENS CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLES. 

Club Champions for 2013-14 are Skip - Murray Piggott, Second - Nigel Rees and Lead - Stan Smith.  Runners-up are; Brian Jeppesen, John Terrell and Harry Mosford.

3:30pm, Friday 22^nd November 2013 - Entries closed

Too late to enter but do come down and support the bowlers this Sunday.  Round 1 (alignment) starts @ 9:30am. Second round starts at 1:30 pm.  Semi-final and Finals same time next Sunday. See you there!
