Spanish paella (chicken & seafood) and pavlova, tea or coffee, $30. 

Buy your tickets soon as they will go fast.  Available at the bar and bookings are essential.

A presentation will be made to our Ladies & Men Champion Bowlers of the Year and our Novice Mens and Ladies Champion Bowlers of the Year.

The great news is that the Club is now open - bar hours are listed under the Social/Functions tab - Bar Hours.

Basically 3pm to 6.30pm Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with 3pm til later on Fridays - closing dependent upon demand.

A great Spanish paella night has also been organised for Friday 31 July 2020...see attached for details.

Please be advised that at a meeting of the Executive Committee on Tuesday, 17^th March 2020 a motion was passed as follows:

FOLLOWING ADVICE FROM BOWLS AUSTRALIA AND BOWLS W.A.

All formal Pennants, Championships and Bowls W.A. events have been cancelled until further notice.

Mt Pleasant General Club Events...On the strong advice of Bowls Australia and Bowls WA given the current COVID-19 Pandemic, all social, club and league fixtures/events should be cancelled.

VALE HARRY MORGAN

It is with great sadness that the Club Advises of the passing of member Harry Morgan. Harry passed away on Monday 16th March 2020.

You will be missed Harry, with regards and respect from your fellow members.

May you Rest in Peace.

MENS SINGLES

Elimination rounds were played on Sunday  8th March with a 21 Up format and plenty of long games ensued, even between the Novices.

First round Mens:

H Booth, John Bryant, Ryan Melkus, Dave Nicholson, H Arnold, Peter Johnson and Terry Ridley were all eliminated.

Those going through to the final rounds are Ian Hunter, Arthur Peters, Geoff Pinkus and Ian Guy.

Come along on 25th April 2020 and have a great night out, bring some friends and enjoy Motown and Soul.

CAN YOU HELP

The Club has long relied on a group of volunteers to help with routine and itinerant tasks that arrive from time to time, i.e. ground keeping the gardens, trimming the roses and odd maintenance jobs that crop up from time to time. Over time, this group has dwindled to just a few due to natural attrition, loss of memberships and just time itself.
