Friday 6th March is Morrocan Night at the Club

These Friday night meal events will also be used to recognise and honour some of our long standing members.

On this occasion we will be recognising Bill and Del Malacari, Keith Timmel, Maurie Foster and John Raynes.

The first of our dinners on Friday nights to be used to highlight members, future Friday night meal sessions will see others recognised for their contribution to the club in some form or another.

Wow, we had 20 wonderful members give of their time and energies on Sunday 9th Feb at the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle fundraiser to raise funds for the Club.  A huge thank you goes to John Wood, Peter Johnson, Alan Westle, Darryl Lopes, Tony Gooch, Hedley Bond, John O'Brien, Rudy Busch, Geoff Thorn, Dot Melkus, Ursula Byatt, Jana Fuller, Terry Ridley, Margaret Kermode, Bill & Susan Allen, Arthur Peters, Gerda Lindeman, Nola Critchley and Murray Sutherland.

Some club members are currently running a Bingo session at 3pm Fridays.

Welcome to 2020 and the first newsletter for the New Year.

We are pleased to announce that the newsletter will now be distributed to all categories of members to ensure that everyone is informed.

All current members with an email address have been added to the clubs website and you may have recently received an email asking you to log on, change your password and check details - thank you to those that have already done so and thanks in anticipation for those that are yet to complete.

The annual Club Dinner date has been decided for Friday 3 April 2020.

Save the date in your calendar for a great Paella night - Chicken Paella or Seafood Paella, followed by Pavlova for dessert and Tea/Coffee to finish.

The Australia Day long weekend and the Club was rockin'.  Thank you to Mt. Pleasant Old Boys and to all those people who came and had a great night.  Happy Australia Day everyone.

Our Ladies Day has been re-scheduled and we would be very thankful if you put together a team and entered especially if you had already committed to our December 6 date which was cancelled because of the extreme heat.  Fingers and toes are crossed that this day goes ahead.  Your support will be appreciated.

Bowls WA has advised of a change to the Roll-Up Format for midweek Pennant Fixtures.

From Monday 6th January 2020, Managers, Skippers and players are advised that commencing this week, the extended Midweek roll-up has been removed from the Conditions of Play.

The roll-up will be the traditional two way roll-up from 1.15pm with a 1.30pm game commencement.

Another creditable 24 keen and eager bowlers attended this second session played in very mild conditions after the rain in the morning and a cool 22-24 degrees prevailing with a stiff afternoon sea breeze.

Pop stick draws - with new jumbo size popsticks whats more - with three eventual winners as follows:

Fourth prize with no reward at all were John O'Brien (Skip) Dave Nicholson (Second) and Gerry "raffles" Naylor (Lead).

Third place, on +12 Greg Samson (Skip) John Wood (Second) and Mark Lee (Lead).
